A Father for worship leaders
The answer to a worn-out worship leader is not a better set, a bigger platform, or more discipline. It is not even more worship. The answer is a Father — a holy Father for a beloved son or daughter.
Jesus said, “I am the way… no one comes to the Father except through me.” The destination of all true worship is not a feeling, a moment, or a key change — it is the Father. His Word will not return void
When our Father said, “Let there be light,” there was light. His Word does what He sends it to do. The same Word you set to music will not come back empty — not in the room you lead, and not in you.
“My word… will not return to me empty, but will accomplish that which I purpose.” — Isaiah 55:11

A prayer for worship leaders
Our Father, we thank You and praise You for all worship leaders. Let them hear Your whisper above every other voice. Let them encounter Your love — not the idea of it, but the weight of it — and experience Your delight and joy over them. Open their eyes to see Your eyes of delight, and let them feel Your mighty, strong arms of protection and provision around them.
Show them their name written on the palms of Your hands. Let them know they are the apple of Your eye. Let them hear You sing over them, and watch You dance over them with ecstatic joy. Give them grace, Father, to prioritize intimacy with You above their performance — to know Your identity as Father, and to receive their own identity straight from You.
I pray Your protection over them from the enemy, from temptation, and from evil. Let them know that their perfect, loving, holy heavenly Father is well pleased with them. That no condemnation means no condemnation — that You long to give to them generously, without finding fault. Let them know You, their Father, as their true inheritance and reward, for every other gift pales in comparison to the gift of You as Father. And may they wake up every single day under the pour of their heavenly Father’s heart for them.
