A Father for student ministry

His Word will not return void
When our Father said, “Let there be light,” there was light. His Word does what He sends it to do. The seeds you plant in students who seem unreachable will not come back empty — the harvest is often hidden for years, but it is never lost, and the Word is at work in you too.

A prayer for student ministry leaders
Our Father, we thank You and praise You for everyone who serves in student ministry — the youth pastors, interns, leaders, and volunteers who chase the wanderers, sit with the broken, and pour years into teenagers who may never say thank you. Let them hear Your whisper above every critical parent and every empty seat. Let them encounter Your love — not as a lesson they teach, but as a weight they feel — and experience Your delight over them, apart from any number or outcome.
Give them grace to prioritize intimacy with You above their performance, to receive their identity as Your sons and daughters before they ever lead, and to know that the young people they love are loved by You first. Father, be the one who fathers these who father others. Carry what they cannot. Lift the discouragement of unseen labor, and give them eyes to trust a harvest they may not live to see.
I pray Your protection over them from the enemy, from temptation, from burnout, and from despair. Let them know there is no condemnation in You. Let them know You, their Father, as their true inheritance and reward, for every other gift pales beside the gift of You. And may they wake up every single day under the pour of their heavenly Father’s heart for them.
