Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using fathersheartbible.com or the FH Family community at join.fathersheartbible.com (together, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Father's Heart Bible™ is published by Spirit Media Publishing. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or participate in the FH Family community. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Services with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the Services; if you become aware that a child under 13 is using the Services, please contact us at hello@spiritmediapublishing.com.

Your Account

  • One account per person. You may not register multiple accounts or share your account with others.
  • You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
  • Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@spiritmediapublishing.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Intellectual Property

All content we provide on the Services — including the Father's Heart Bible™ translation text, images, logos, audio, and original written material — is the property of Spirit Media Publishing and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Your Content

When you post, comment, react, or send a direct message inside the FH Family community ("Member Content"), you retain ownership of what you create.

By submitting Member Content, you grant Spirit Media Publishing a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, store, reproduce, format, moderate, and (for public spaces) make available to other members the Member Content, solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content that has already been received by other members (such as a direct message someone has read).

You represent that you have the right to post the Member Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Community Guidelines

The FH Family community is a space for reading, reflection, and honest conversation around Scripture. To keep it safe and useful, you agree NOT to:

  • Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other members.
  • Post hate speech, slurs, or content that demeans others based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Post sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content harmful to minors.
  • Impersonate another person, a staff member, or a public figure.
  • Spam the community with unsolicited advertising, promotional links, or repeated identical posts.
  • Promote violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or content prohibited by law.
  • Share another member's private information (real name, address, phone, email) without their consent.
  • Use the community to evangelize against the mission of Father's Heart Bible™ or to recruit members to competing platforms.
  • Attempt to access, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Services or any other member's account.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to post or interact without our written permission.

Disagreement is welcome. Honesty is welcome. Cruelty is not.

AI Moderation

We use automated AI systems to screen posts, comments, and direct messages for content that may violate these guidelines (harassment, crisis signals, abuse). Flagged content is reviewed by a human moderator before any action is taken. We may also use AI to assist with summary, translation, or formatting of community content.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
  • Your activity poses a safety risk to other members.
  • You are required to be removed by law or court order.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@spiritmediapublishing.com. Deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

Free Book Download

The free PDF download of "Father's Heart → Beloved Identity" is provided for personal use. You may share the download link but may not host, redistribute, or modify the PDF itself.

Donations

Donations made through our website are processed by Stripe, Inc. and received by SM Gives, the giving brand of Spirit Media Charities, a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 88-4352701). Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law; no goods or services are provided in exchange. All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.

Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material to be removed and information sufficient to locate it.
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content posted by members.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spirit Media Publishing, its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including loss of data or content. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app message. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
