And there is a Father whose love doesn't depend on how you look, who follows you, or whether you got picked. He's been with you the whole time.

A Father for middle schoolers
When you feel left out or not enough, the answer isn't to try harder to be cool, funnier, or different than you are. The answer is a Father — a perfect Father in heaven who already calls you His beloved kid.
Think about that for a second. Before you ever opened an app, before anyone in your school had an opinion about you, God already knew you all the way down — and He likes you. Not the version of you that's trying to impress people. The real you. The one who feels weird sometimes, who messes up, who's still figuring it out. That's the one He calls beloved.
You don't have to earn a single bit of that love. You can't make Him love you more by getting more follows or better grades, and you can't make Him love you less by having a bad day. His love for you is steady when everything else in middle school feels like it keeps changing. He's your safe place — your true home — and He's not going anywhere.

No bad day, no mistake, no mean comment can cut you off from your Father's love. Nothing can.

A prayer for middle schoolers
Our Father, we thank You and praise You for these middle schoolers. Let them hear Your whisper above all their noise — the comparison, the pressure to fit in, and the voices online that tell them they're not enough. Let them encounter Your love — not as a rule, but as a Father's delight — and know they are Your beloved, apart from their looks, their grades, or how many friends they have.
Give them grace to receive their identity from You before the world tells them who to be. Father, steady their hearts in these changing years — when they feel left out, remind them they belong to You; when they feel weird or unseen, remind them You made them on purpose and call them wonderful. I pray Your protection over them from the enemy, from temptation, from bullying and cruelty, from everything harmful online, and from despair.
Let them know there is no condemnation in You, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that nothing can separate them from Your love. Let them know You, their Father, as their true home and reward. And may they wake up every single day knowing they are loved by their heavenly Father.
