These are the proposed renderings of FHB's key terms. The heart of the review: wherever English says our Father, the rendering must feel like a beloved child addressing their own father — warm, reverent, natural to your language's Bible — and never the distant generic word for "God." Register

A reverent contemporary register in the Reina-Valera family (RVR1960) that Spanish-speaking Christians across Latin America and Spain know and love, softened toward the warmth and accessibility of the Nueva Versión Internacional (NVI) — dignified and devotional, using the familiar 'Padre' of the Padrenuestro rather than archaic forms.

Quotation marks

Angular quotation marks «…» (comillas latinas) for direct speech, nesting with "…"; the dialogue dash/raya (—) is not used for Scripture speech.

Poetry lines

Poetry set as broken verse lines: each poetic stich on its own line, secondary parallel lines further indented, stanzas separated by a blank line — as RVR/NVI format the Psalms and the Prophets.
